Popped in for a quick pint after an impressively long day, and was very pleased to see that the standards here are as high as ever. A proper, quintessentially English pub, with perfectly kept beer lines, beautiful building and beautiful atmosphere to match. Served by Rosie, my pint was the crisp relaxation in a glass I was hoping for. Delivered and then some. Brilliant pub. A diamond in the crown of Witney.

The staff were very helpful, the food was fantastic 👌 and was a good price, had to wait a little bit for my food due to a miss communication, the staff came and said what had happened and were apologetic but the food was well worth the wait

I have visited for a lunchtime bite and a pint. Several times in 2025. The quality of the real ale is excellent. We particularly liked the ' own ale' Sandwich lunches are good quality and very good value for money.

We ended up at this pub rather randomly but we are glad we did. They had a great menu with lots of options including several vegetarian options. The food was great and served on beautiful dishes. The services was fast and super friendly. I cannot recommend this place more highly for a great family pub lunch or dinner.
